VAILLANT is a movement: dance and structure, heritage and abstraction.

Based in Paris, VAILLANT is a luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand founded by Alice Vaillant.

Movement is central to the brand’s language. Shaped by an intensive background in ballet, Alice Vaillant develops a design approach where discipline meets deconstruction, reinterpreting classical codes through a contemporary lens.

Rooted in French heritage and craftsmanship, the brand balances structure and fluidity, strength and sensuality. Vaillant’s signature lies in precise construction, layered materials, sharp tailoring and the use of lace and outerwear as defining elements.

Influenced by post-modern architecture, the work evolves through geometry, proportion and abstraction. VAILLANT proposes a transformative wardrobe, conceived as a dialogue between body and garment, past and future, structure and movement.

ALICE VAILLANT

Born in Paris, Alice Vaillant grew up in an artistic environment, learning to sew in her grandmother’s costume atelier.

Trained for over ten years at the Paris Opera Ballet School, she also took part in the ateliers of the Paris Opera Garnier, an experience that deeply inspired her creative vision and continues to shape her approach to design.

After leaving dance, she studied Fashion Design in Montreal before completing a Master’s in Womenswear in Paris.

She went on to work at Jean-Paul Gaultier Couture and Nina Ricci under Rushemy Botter before founding her own label, VAILLANT, in 2020.

Her work has been recognized with the Ville de Paris Prize and as a two-time finalist of the prestigious Andam Pierre Bergé Prize (2023, 2024).
