Since the founding of the brand, VAILLANT has made it a point of honor to produce unique, hand-crafted pieces using innovative techniques.

 

We exclusively use lace sourced from the city of Calais, the historical heart of lace production and a veritable treasure trove of French textile heritage.

 

Much of our production is based on upcycling leftover and deadstock materials from the industry. We have designed garment patterns capable of adapting to a wide variety of lace motifs, which ensures that we can use different runs of lace across seasons and reduce the waste of this precious material to the absolute minimum.

 

This approach enables us to work sustainably and responsibly with our partners in Calais.
